Los tetiterios (Tethytheria) son un clado de mamíferos afroterios que incluye sirenios y proboscídeos. Es muy probable que los extintos Embrithopoda también estén incluidos y quizá los Desmostylia. Los primeros tetiterios aparecieron probablemente a principios del Paleoceno. Junto con los hiracoideos forman el clado Paenungulata.
